Well it’s been a while, in fact just over two years. It would be fair to say that it hasn’t been the easiest of times for the various members of roomthirteen. It’s ace being in a band but life often gets in the way and boy did life get in the way for each member of the band. The catalogue of disasters reads like the plot of a film you couldn’t make up, however life did conspire to make it up. Serious operations, bereavement, houses nearly falling down and an album that seems to kick, scream and throw itself on the nearest supermarket floor whenever we get near finishing have all provided the back drop for the very worst of times. It almost looked like we wouldn’t survive. However survive we have and we are back.
We are really excited to announce our first outing since Lord knows when. We are playing The Oakwood – 67 High Street – Glossop -SK13 9AZ on June 21st. It would be ace to see you there. Doors are 8-30pm and we will be playing a selection of tunes fro eaterlinparadox and some of the new songs also. We promise it won’t be two years before we play again, though don’t use that as an excuse not to join us at The Oakwood. For those that do make the gig we will be giving you access to a free download from the pending album. It’s worth it for that alone surely. Thanks for bearing with us and see you on the 21st.
